well-rested and inspired.

Good morning, my darlings. I'm back from an incredible weekend in Austin, Texas at the Texas Style Council. I'll have lots of posts this week with pictures, recaps, and my thoughts on the whole conference, but for now here's just a few things.. I love meeting other bloggers and Etsy sellers and fashion writers and other like-minded women. It's truly refreshing to sit down with someone and just talk about the things that we both do every day. Another really fun part of the trip was the symposium on Sunday. I won a notebook from Lands End Canvas at the Posh Party (more on that later), and I filled it more than half-way with notes from all the different speakers and panelists. I will definitely use the quotes in this notebook on days that I'm feeling overwhelmed or under-inspired. Finally, Austin was amazing! Even though it was really cold and rainy for most of the trip, I fell in love with it. I don't think New Jersey has any places like Austin. It's a smaller city, with tons of bars, restaurants, and shopping, some incredible architecture and scenic views, and live music and events all year! I would love to live there, but I can't leave NJ. I just love it too much! Haha! On Sunday night when a few of us were walking around the city, I called Frank and told him that Austin needs to be on our list of places to visit and he wholeheartedly agreed. :)

That's what I look like this morning. I'm drinking lots of coffee (something I didn't do a lot of during the trip), working on lots of blog and shop things, and trying to hard to get my room in order. When I return from trips, I have this tendency to just leave my fully packed suitcase on my floor and not empty it out for days. I'm determined to not let that happen this time! I will have to hustle this morning, because I'm going back to my crazy-intense internship today at noon. I don't think I'm ready!

ps. If I met you in Austin, say hi and please leave a link to your blog or shop too!
