I've seen these before and I'm wondering if you could just use a coffee cup lid and cut it yourself to the dimensions of the jar. I dunno, it's probably me just trying to be cheap, but $7.99 for a plastic lid sounds like a lot. xo julie
I'm not sure if this would be an issue, but I think that you're not supposed to use those lids more than once, or a few times. I believe that the plastic that they are made out of can be super unhealthy if used more than a few times. I know that it's the case for plastic water bottles, and I think it would apply here too.
I am pretty positive that I need this. It's just so clever. And now I'm thinking of all of the sleeves that I could make for a mason jar so that I could use it with coffee. The possibilities are endless, and it's easier than a regular travel coffee cup because it's cylindrical.
