our trip to disney (in october).
I know that Frank and my trip to Walt Disney World in October was about half a year ago at this point, but so what? I never shared these photos on the blog, but I've had them "flagged" in iPhoto for months. Better late than never, right? Also, reminiscing over these photos has made me want to plan another trip back ASAP. Haha!
At Hollywood Studios, in front of the Great Movie Ride, Frank is standing in the footprints of Dick Van Dyke!
Here I am, on the floor, matching my hands up to the incredible Ann-Margret.
Inside the Great Movie Ride, which is one of my favorite attractions in all of Walt Disney World.
A blurry shot of the "Mary Poppins" scene. Frank and I were supposed to dress up as Mary and Bert for Halloween, but it didn't happen. :(
Before dinner at the California Grill, we had some drinks and shared a delicious cheese plate at the Contemporary Resort.
The view of the Magic Kingdom park from the top of the Contemporary Resort.
Here's Frank in Fantasyland at the Magic Kingdom. He's really strong, but not strong enough to get the sword out of the stone. ;)
A view of one of my other favorite attractions, the Haunted Mansion. I can never get enough of this ride! I think we rode it four times during this trip. Haha!
Frank acting boyish and shooting fake guns on Tom Sawyer Island. It's so fun to get to act like a kid again!
There I am, hiding in the mirror behind all the expensive booze at the Rose and Crown Pub in the World Showcase at Epcot.
We took a break from souvenir-shopping and ate some delicious food at Cooke's of Dublin at Downtown Disney. Free tiny cupcake with my sandwich? Yes please!
Back at the Haunted Mansion during Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, I'm making my best bratty-looking face with the statue of some bratty-looking kids.
Creepy tombstones at the Haunted Mansion. I love the lighting around that part of the park.
Haha! I have a tradition of taking this photo every time I ride Dinosaur at Animal Kingdom. I'm imitating the egg-eating mammals. I really should make a collage of all the shots I've taken over the years..
A baby elephant on Kilimanjaro Safaris! Frank really loves silly animals, so this ride was a blast for him.
Here I am wearing an official Jungle Cruise skipper hat! My friend Steve is a skipper and he hung out with us for a few days while we were vacationing.
A couple of pretty views of the World Showcase at night..
Scary troll dolls for sale in the Norway pavilion. It reminds me of an episode of "Community" so I had to take a picture.
We had dinner with a few friends at Via Napoli one night. I had to try the "Zeppole di Caterina" dessert because that's my grandma's name. Caterina, not Zeppole. ;)
The ovens at Via Napoli are incredibly designed and each is named after a volcano in Italy. Cool, huh?
And finally, a nighttime photo of a sign near the entrance of Magic Kingdom.
