amy's memorial day weekend visit • part two!

Here's the last of the photos from Amy's trip. On Sunday, Amy and I picked up Kim, then stopped at Dunkin', the liquor store, Pathmark, and Walmart for supplies. We drove into Somerville and set up camp in one of the many tiny park areas in town. We drank champagne/mimosas, ate snacks, listened to music, and talked. We also blew bubbles and took lots of pictures. Frank came over to hang out with us for a bit, then he invited us to his house for some more alcohol (wine, this time) and some air conditioning. We went thrifting and to Shoprite for more groceries. Back at the house, Frank barbecued and Kim made these incredible sweet potato fries. After dinner, we met up with more friends at a bar on Main Street. The end of the night was one big singalong in my car. We sounded good. Real good.

On Monday, Amy and I went back to Somerville to see the bike races, go thrifting some more, and hang out with friends. Sadly, I had to bring Amy to the airport before the party really started. I miss her terribly and we're already planning more visits! :)
